Laurie is quite knowledgable about the local lakes, as she was raised on Lake Nagawicka, in Delafiled Wisconsin , where she raced small youth sailboats competitively in the ILYA. The lessons learned from sailing have stuck with her. Laurie now resides with her family, on a small lake just outside the metro area.
